The axle-back performance exhaust system is designed to unleash the power and sound locked within your factory Mustang exhaust with no loss of emission regulation compliance. Our axle-back exhaust systems reduce back pressure and allow spent exhaust gasses to exit more quickly allowing a cleaner charge of fuel and air into the engine cylinders for enhanced combustion.
Using high quality, thick wall 409 stainless steel, mandrel bent free flowing tubing and chambered muffler construction, this Legato axle-back exhaust will outlast your Mustang - our exhaust parts will not rust through - guaranteed! Topped by our signature 304 highly polished stainless steel, double-wall tips, your Mustang will look and sound like the powerhouse it was meant to be. Adjustable hanger rods allow for perfect fitment to Mustang rear valance openings.

Installation
Legato Performance exhaust systems come complete with everything you need to install the system on your vehicle including detailed instructions, tubing, mufflers and clamps. Our systems work with the factory hanger designs and will easily replace the stock system meaning you can install the complete system in your driveway using simple hand tools. In most cases, no cutting of the factory exhaust is required because the Legato kit connects to the factory exhaust where natural breaks occur. If no break is present, a hacksaw to cut the tubing and a metal file to dress any sharp edges should be used.

This system fit the bill.
I wanted an axle back system a bit louder than stock but not obnoxious.
Axle back was and easy install and fitment was good.
I love the sound of this exhaust. I have long tube headers and o/r h-pipe and it has a beautiful growl when it hits the power band. The only drawback is the exhaust on the passenger side sticks out a little bit more but I'm more than okay with the look.
Love the sound and the tips look really good. Would recommend for someone that wants an aggressive old school sound that isn't too loud
I was coming from a really loud exhaust and needed my car quieter. This exhaust definitely did that. Still loud enough to give you a bit of a rumble but the drone is non-existent. Very nice on the highway.. installation was super simple .
