This system fit the bill.
I wanted an axle back system a bit louder than stock but not obnoxious.
Axle back was and easy install and fitment was good.
I love the sound of this exhaust. I have long tube headers and o/r h-pipe and it has a beautiful growl when it hits the power band. The only drawback is the exhaust on the passenger side sticks out a little bit more but I'm more than okay with the look.
Love the sound and the tips look really good. Would recommend for someone that wants an aggressive old school sound that isn't too loud
I was coming from a really loud exhaust and needed my car quieter. This exhaust definitely did that. Still loud enough to give you a bit of a rumble but the drone is non-existent. Very nice on the highway.. installation was super simple .
Easy install, added some deep rumble, no drone.
Driver's side fit well,passenger side not so well.a trip to the muffler shop fixed it up.overall happy.
The mufflers that I received were not the correct mufflers because the hanging hooks welded to the mufflers were facing in the wrong direction. Hopefully the replacement mufflers will be correct and I can then submit a more favorable review.
Great exhaust, good price, fabulous sound
I just need to adjust the muffler a little up to the bumper they are sitting a hair low but do I need to bend the henceforth down are up on the muffler
The reason for such a low score is because my axle back on my 2008 mustang has started rattling inside of the muffler. I have attempted to call and email these guys for 3 weeks. I have received a couple calls back about it and was told that a replacement was shipped. I haven't received the replacement after 2 weeks so I finally got thru to someone after 10 attempts to call. I was text a tracking number that didn't work. I inquired about it and haven't got a working tracking number yet. I was text and told that the replacement would be here yesterday. Long and short it still isn't here and I still don't have a tracking number that works. While I love the sound of the axle backs, this is beyond frustrating!!!!!!
Installation is on my 2010 Mustang GT Premium Convertible. The axle back exhausts lined up perfectly. The hangars lined up perfectly. BUT the slots precut for compression around the forward pipes were not properly finished to allow the clamps to tighten sufficiently. I used a Dremmel saw to free the compression area and then had no further problems. It would have been nice if I had realized the shortcoming defore mounting the first muffler. Otherwise, the installation is straight forward and relatively easy. The sound is great.

The legato exhaust is great. It fit and looks good, A plus for looks sound and easy install. .I will buy legato mufflers for my next car.
Easy install once I was able to get rusty hanger bolts out. Sounds much better than stock and the tips look great.
Mufflers were very well packaged and protected from any routine shipping and handling issues. The mufflers came with very good OEM quality clamps and the mufflers were relatively easy to install. Passenger side went up without a hitch but the drivers side needed further adjustment at the H-pipe clamp in order to center at the rear bumper exhaust outlet. Noticeably a deeper tone and louder exhaust note from stock. The lower price than the competitors was my deciding factor as well as the stainless steel construction.
I had an axle bak system put on my Mustang… after 10 years with the stock exhaust, it was time to give her a little more grrrrr….
It sounds great no drone and not obnoxiously loud at idle… press the go pedal and sh snarls.
There was a fitment issue on the right side.. the exhaust tip stick out a half inch more than the left. he shop that dod it for me said I should see if anyone else has had that problem.
Not much difference over stock exhaust.
Looks great, fits well but the installation could have gone smoother. The notches on the stock exhaust are too large for the slots in the mufflers so they had to be cut off. The hanger bars are facing each other requiring the hangers to be removed before attaching the muffler to the exhaust. They sound good but not quite the Mustang Growl I was looking for but for the price I will keep them on for now.
Drone present in low rpm range when used with supercharger and aftermarket cams with these axle-back mufflers on remaining factory exhaust system on my 2009 Mustang Bullitt. The muffler inlets do not have notches to allow the pipes to slide into the orientation pin on each factory cat-back pipe which restricts proper adjustment.
I received the shipment quickly and planned to wait until spring to install my mufflers. However, I could not wait. I was able to install both mufflers in my garage with a few and tools in about 1 hour. Overall my stang sounds 100% better. The mufflers look and sound great. I would recommend these for sure.
