2009-2014 Dodge Challenger R/T V8 - 100% STAINLESS STEEL - Cat Back Exhaust Kit - Polished SS Tips

I'm very happy with the Legato cat-back system for my 2010 Dodge Challenger. Very good quality materials, ez installation and great sound. Absolutely no drone when cruising! And -:the price was the best I found 😉 I used different tips than stock. Easy to make part of my new Legato exhaust system!

Sounds great with not too much drone. The RPMs have to be steady and at the wrong speed to drone. Very narrow band. Go a tad faster or slow a bit or just shift up or down. It is not too loud or too quiet. It is perfect. Tighten the clamps tight! Start car, warm up and then re tighten again. I didn't and they moved on me. I re tightened and put a small tack weld on each section just to make sure. Stock tips went right on no problem. I used a socket and extension and hammer to start the star washers on the hangars. Tap them lightly or they will break. Very nice product and high quality.

Looked for a Cat back / dual exhaust system to fit on my 2010 Dodge Challenger SE - yes V6 and this Legato system fit the bill at a great price and quality. No modifications to stock pipes or mounts just adapters to go from 2 1/4" pipes to 2 1/2" pipes. And by no fault of Legato the only issue was having to add a heat shield on the driver side muffler (since next to gas tank) because Dodge didn't think anybody would put dual exhaust on their SE car otherwise all bolt on with no modifications to Legato kit. Went from quiet sound to mean even head turning. So yeah I could have said kit was installed on V8 but showing this quality and affordable SS system is an option for V6 owners so maybe Legato would honor their lifetime warranty if I even needed it. Recommend Legato system for Dodge Challenger owners.

Best systems for the money and life time warranty

This is a great quality exhaust system and very well thought out. Very easy to install using a factory hangers. The pipe ends caps did just what it was designed for...keeping the pipe ends from getting damaged/deformed during shipping. My box was well beaten by delivery guys, upon opening and inspecting everything the parts were in great shape, their system packaging was well thought out and caps worked as advertised to prevent shipping damages. Hardest part is getting old system from out under the car, I didn’t run a timer but it probably took about two hours or so, most of that was getting the car high enough on stands in my crowded garage. Bolting in the system didn’t take long at all as everything lined up and fit was as close to perfect! Nothing out of round and clamps worked to achieve a tight and leak free connection. The sound was great, though my son thought it sounded awesome out of the box, it was a bit loud for me. There is a definite rumble out the pipes through shifts ( it’s a auto trans) with just a slight drone until it hits cruise rpms and it settles down. I ‘m a 60+ years young hot rodder but preferred just a bit less rumble.. so I reinstalled my Blastin Bobs magnaflow 4x9 kit from my old system onto Legato exhaust system. I now have the tone I was looking for, a bit more bark than stock, with deep mild tone and no drone at all! I definitely recommend this system for your Challenger if you want some rumble to let your presence known to those on the street when you stomp the loud pedal! Get this system for you car. For the money, the Legato Challenger exhaust system a great bargain and I believe money well spent compared to those more expensive systems out there for the Challenger.

I was running a pair of Flowmaster Hushpower II with resonators on my '13 Challenger RT M6. Liked the sound, but these minimal resonance mufflers-Flowmasters description, not mine-were giving me a perpetual case of tinitis (ringing ears) and made my extended rides tiring. I was really beginning to not like my car.
I installed the Legato catback this week. My Gawd, what a difference!. I can tell there was some real engineering put into this muffler design, because it barks on the outside, but is dang near silent on the inside during light acceleration and cruising, regardless of speed or load. I've really tried to make them drone, but any 2K RPM resonance is so minimal and brief it doesn't even approach my notice.
I took the wife for a ride, since she didn't like riding in the car before, even though she loves the Challenger. She is more pleased than I am with the Legatos. Product quality is very good, price is unbeatable, I can't recommend this cat back enough. Well done Legato.

Very nice, classic rumble, great value. Very happy, but Clamps that came with system, low quality. No drone.

Easy installation, everything fit well, I use the factory tips, all bolts together tight.
Would be nice if their were stickers and a x pipe.

I bought this cat back system some time ago and just now got it installed. In the garage on jack stands was really easy. Sounds like the car should've from the factory and absolutely no drone. As a matter of fact the car is as quiet as it was from the factory inside. But outside the car sounds "dangerous "

I received my order undamaged, instructions were adequate, fit and quality are very good, the sound is great not to loud at idle, great sound when in the throttle. I like that I can hear it a highway speeds. All around this was a great choice for and exhuast upgrade. I installed this in my driveway using ramps. My only complaint is before I placed my order I contacted Legato via email, referring to extra pair of exhuast clamps and tips. I got a timely reply stating that all the required clamps are supplied and no other tips are available. The tips issue is okay I like the stock tips. But as for as clamps this kit required another set of clamps as I read in other reviews. The front clamps on my 2011 are welded to the stock pipes being removed. So if you are buying this be advised buy another pair of clamps(2.5") before you start, to complete install. Hopefully Legato reads this review and previous reviews and corrects this or at least informs buyers that they need to get an extra clamps. Besides the clamp issue this system is a excellent purchase and I would buy again and have recommend Legato anyone that asked about my exhyast.

I HAVE A 2014 CHALLENGER R/T MANUAL WITH A KENNE BELL SUPERCHARGER. I HAVE TRIED DIFFERENT EXHAUST COMBINATIONS. FLOW MASTER WITH AND WITHOUT RESONATORS. MAGNAFLO WITH AND WITHOUT RESONATORS. BOTH SOUNDED GOOD BUT THE DRONE WAS TERRIBLE . ORDERED THE LEGATO SYSTEM BECAUSE IT ADVERTISED NO DRONE. THE EXHAUST HAS THE MUSCLE CAR SOUND I WAS LOOKING FOR AND ONCE YOU SHIFT INTO 6TH GEAR IT GETS QUITE AND NO DRONE. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS EXHAUST.

I received my system in just a few days. The box was pretty beat up but there was no damage. The install was easy and took just under two hours taking my time to be sure I got it right. I asked to purchase 2 extra clamps and received them at no charge. I love the way the exhaust sounds at startup and acceleration but seems to have some drone right as the trans shifts to the next gear witch gets a little annoying during city driving.. I also noticed after driving it for a while that the tail pipe tips were off center in the openings ( both in toward the center) tried to readjust and tighten clamps securely but went back towards the center again. This system seems to be made well and sounds great but should have included the 2 extra clamps and enough keepers for all six hangers.
Would have given 5 stars except for the the system is advertised to have no drone and it does.

Instructions were detailed and easy to understand. Sounds great on my car. Only issue I had was having to go buy 2 clamps because the two that were supposed to be reused were completely welded onto the factory pipes. Would also suggest adding Legato tips for ease of installation and also promoting the brand. Using the factory tips doesn't let others know what kind of exhaust has been installed

Great sound, aggressive when you want it, especially on a manual transmission where you can wind it out and get a nice crackle between shifts. Yet, settles in at highway speeds and let's you carry on a conversation or listen to music. Fit was perfect, I have to agree that 2 more clamps would have been great , had to drill welds to get old ones off to reuse, not at tip, but at "h" pipe.. Will post video..

Received order as expected. Box indicated it was axle back exhaust. Opened the box and correct product was inside. Installation was straight forward no issues, stock tips re-used on new system. Sounds great, not too loud but not too quiet. Exhaust tone changes dramatically over rpm range. It actually sounds quieter in the cabin at higher rpms. There is some drone but not bad. Overall very happy with the new sound, more fun to drive. Maybe some horsepower gain also. Next comes the supercharger.

I've been debating on changing out my exhaust system. I had already cut off the resonators but can't stand the drone. Was about a week from purchasing the Borla system but the cost seemed excessive. Was browsing the internet and happened to find Legato...and man am I happy I did. I guarantee anyone looking for an exhaust system will be more than happy with this one. So easy to install...took me about an hour and a half in my garage. Everything came packed professionally...no damage during shipping and matched up perfectly. The sound is unbelievable...guys at work can't believe it and the fact I saved about $900 over the Borla system makes me crazy happy! I love it and you will too...go get it! Oh yeah...all the drone I had...it's gone.

I am fairly happy with system had to bend hangers slightly to keep tail pipes from twisting and banging frame. Is a little agressive for us 55 plus but the car now sounds like a muscle car. I am very pleased with how fast it was delivered . would probably have given it a 5 but the little clips that hold the hangers seemed to small for hanger posts when i installed they all split and there is 6 hangers I only recieved 4

I put the system on in about an hour every part top quality . Sounds great although at 59 years old it was a little to aggressive for me so I called Legato . The call surprised me I was told that an exhaust system is very personal and that every ear is different and they would do whatever it took to make it right for me including sending different mufflers. The customer service is outstanding! I cant thank them enough . Great product great price great service.

Exhaust sounds and looks great easy install. Had to purchase to additional clamps only thing I would do is add that to the kit other than that perfect sound and style. Great price.

I bought this exhaust system without ever hearing what it sounded like... BEST EXHAUST SYSTEM hands down. The people at Legato really know what they are doing. Installation was easy, and everything fit perfect! The only downside to this exhaust system is that it does not come with tips, I would rather be proud to own a Legato performance exhaust with Legato's signature on the tips, Vs. just using the stock Mopar tips. But other than that you cant ask for a better exhaust system, and I have already had Dodge Challenger owners ask me what exhaust I have. Worth the money!!

Sound runs smoothly at normal speeds and a little louder when you get on the pedal.
