Our axle-back exhaust systems reduce back pressure and allow spent exhaust gasses to exit more quickly allowing a cleaner charge of fuel and air into the engine cylinders for enhanced combustion.
Using high quality, thick wall 409 stainless steel, mandrel bent free flowing tubing and chambered muffler construction, the Legato Performance Axle back Exhaust will outlast your Mustang - our exhaust parts will not rust through - guaranteed! Topped by our signature Legato Performance 304 highly polished stainless steel, double wall tips, your Mustang will not only sound terrific, but look great. Adjustable hanger rods allow for perfect fitment to Mustang rear valance openings.
The easy to install axle back system uses the factory hanger mounts making the total time from removal of your stock system to installation of the Legato Performance Axle-back exhaust approximately a one-hour job for even the most novice enthusiast. Installation
Legato Performance exhaust systems come complete with everything you need to install the system on your vehicle including detailed instructions, tubing, mufflers and clamps. Our systems work with the factory hanger designs and will easily replace the stock system meaning you can install the complete system in your driveway using simple hand tools. In most cases, no cutting of the factory exhaust is required because the Legato kit connects to the factory exhaust where natural breaks occur. If no break is present, a hacksaw to cut the tubing and a metal file to dress any sharp edges should be used.

Absolutely delighted with my legato exhaust for my ess g3 supercharged s550 mustang, I already have a H pipe fitted and it sounds incredible now, the exhaust was nicely packaged, very easy to fit and an excellent fit. Highly recommended. Thanks Alan from Ireland.
The exhaust system did not fit the car
This system is much louder than the videos on the Legato website. Neighbor waking cold starts but a good smooth sound while accelerating. There is a drone at 1500 or so rpm while in 6th gear but i can live with it. Great product but the website videos can be misleading on the actual sound. Go to Youtube and find a few better examples.

Great product I was very surprised wen I received the product on saw how well the built quality was I was gonna buy Flowmaster Axle Back for $650 until I saw legato brand on the lower price so I did my research on them happy I wait can't wait to have them installed car is away for the winter so I have wait for the spring to install it
